Pokazala je kako je carski rez itekako bolan

„Carski rez nije pravi porod“, „Ne znaš koliko je bolan pravi porod“ ili „Oh, koliko je to lakše!“ – žene koje su rodile carskim rezom sigurno su čule neki od tih ili sličnih komentara. Naime, još uvijek mnogi misle kako je ženama lakše donijeti dijete na svijet carskim rezom.

Rez od 15 centimetara

Blogerici Oliviji White dosadili su takvi komentari – pa je postala fotografiju svog trbuha nakon rođenja. I uz to napisala: 

 

Look I know it might not be my best angle (or is it?) 😂 but who wouldn't take selfies hours post birth so they can see where they sliced you open and yanked out a whole person 🙋🏼 (if you couldn't tell I still couldn't see past my still inflated uterus) 🙈 This is what you really look like a few hours post c-section 🗡 To anyone who thinks it's the easy way out, we'll try having a 6 inch gash in your abdomen like a gutted shark 🦈 who had the body parts of the surfer 🏄🏼 it ate retrieved! That's then sewn back together with fishing wire while it feels like your vital organs are trying to escape! I mean sure, everything is 🌈 and 🍭 till the spinal wears off! After that it's like you've been hit by a bus 🚌 which then backed over you just to make sure it didn't miss you the first time! If you don't time the Endone exactly before the previous lot wore off then you will most certainly know you are alive (while wishing you were dead) ☠️ and worst of all you'll feel as if you'll spend your entire life wearing nanna 👵 knickers up around your waist because the thought of anything settling in the canyon between your gut and pubic region is the stuff nightmares are made of 👻🙅🏼 Anyone who's ever had c section knows that you'll forever be dependant on your friends Nancy, Dr 90210 and Spanx because you cannot for the life of you get rise of the ditch that is left by the scar 🙄 But for all the skin tight Kookai dresses I bought while pregnant 🤰🏼 that now make me look like I have a Kangaroo pouch - I wouldn't change it! Because if it wasn't for the ability to deliver my babies 👶🏼 this way they might not be here today 🙌🏻 plus I recon getting cut from A to B sounds way worse 😷🤕

…Pogledajte, možda ovo nije najbolji kut (ili jest?), ali tko ne bi napravio kratko nakon poroda selfie na kojem se točno vidi gdje su napravili rez kroz koji su izvadili cijelu osobu? (Ako niste primijetili, mogla sam vidjeti samo do svoje još nabrekle meternice.)

Ovako to zapravo izgleda nekoliko sati nakon carskog reza. Ako netko misli da je carski rez jednostavniji način rađanja, neka pokuša napraviti rez od 15 centimetara te se osjećati poput morskog psa kojem su izvadili ostatke čovjeka kojeg je pojeo. I onda neka vas zašiju strunom jer imate osjećaj da će vam iscuriti ostali organi.

Mislim, dok traje narkoza sve je lako. Ali poslije se osjećaš kao da te pregazio autobus, vratio se, pa te još jednom pregazio kako bi bio siguran da te potpuno zgazio. Ako nisi na vrijeme dobila novu dozu narkoze, onda u svakom slučaju osjećaš da si živa (premda radije ne bi bila). 

Ali, najgore od svega je da imaš osjećaj kako ćeš ostatak svog života morati nositi goleme gaće, jer jedina pomisao da će nešto doći između tog napuštenog kanjona i tvog intimnog područja jest materijal od kojeg su napravljene noćne more. (…) 

Ali, ne bih željela ništa promijeniti. Jer bez svega toga ne bih bila u stanju dobiti svoje dijete. (…)

 

INTERNATIONAL MIDWIVES DAY!! It goes without saying that we think this particular midwife is the bees kneez 🐝And not just because she's my mother in law, but because she's literally a dead set legend in field and life in general!! Anyone who's had a baby fielded by her, had a little one cared for by her in the neonatal nursery or has just met her, knows she's one in a million! I'm lucky to have had both girls handed to me by this Wonder Woman and she's guided me so much through this motherhood gig! And on top of that, we are even luckier to call her our Nanny Annie 😘 Thanks for being the most amazing midwife, mother in law and grand mother we could ever ask for 😍 LOVE YOU TOO THE MOON AND BACK! But also couldn't forget to mention the gorgeous @ally.91 @claire_bogart @kelly_naus @lozc_15 - Warragul sure did hit the Midwife jackpot 😉🙋🏼 #ward5iswhereitsat

Jer nitko, (doista nitko) ne može propisati ženi na koji način treba roditi svoje dijete, koje bolove mora izdržati te što je „pravo rođenje“! 

 

That moment 😍 found this randomly on my phone; a photo my husband took moments after I left theatre! So puffy faced (it doesn't even look like me) and still nauseated from spinal but so deliriously happy 😁
